Introducing Connectors: SharePoint and OneDrive, Directly Inside Your Vault

Connectors is live. Arc Box Platform now integrates directly with Microsoft SharePoint and OneDrive — the first in a series of cloud storage connectors that bring your organization's existing file sources inside the Arc.box governance boundary.

What Connectors Does

Most enterprise document operations are split across platforms. Files accumulate in SharePoint. Records are certified elsewhere. The gap between the two is bridged manually — by whoever remembers to re-upload, re-link, or re-certify when something changes. That gap is where chain-of-custody breaks. It is where auditors find discrepancies.

Arc Box Connectors closes that gap without requiring your organization to abandon the storage systems already in use. Connect SharePoint or OneDrive to your Arc Box Platform instance, and your team can browse, search, and manage files from those sources directly inside your decentralized enterprise vault — without leaving Arc.box. Files remain accessible in their origin system. Inside Arc.box, they become part of the same governed environment where your ARC Containers live, subject to the same access controls and lineage tracking. Sovereign control does not require starting over.

• In-vault file governance — Connected files are surfaced inside the same Arc Box Platform environment as your ARC Containers, inheriting your existing access controls and audit trail.
• No re-upload required — Files remain in their origin cloud storage; the Connector bridges them into your vault without duplicating or migrating the underlying data.
• Foundation for ARC conversion — Files surfaced through Connectors are available for Vault-to-ARC conversion, enabling the full path from external file to certified, tamper-proof Authentic Record Container.
• Extensible connector architecture — SharePoint and OneDrive are the first connectors in production; Google Drive, Dropbox, and Box integrations are in development.

Getting Started

Connectors is available today for all Arc Box Platform subscribers. Navigate to your Enterprise Admin Console, select Arc Box → Connectors, and authenticate your SharePoint or OneDrive account. Your connected file sources will appear inside the Vault view immediately. From there, files can be browsed, managed, and submitted for ARC certification through the standard flow.
